一、研究方向

·生命多组学数据与医疗数据的集成与分析,及其在生物医药研发领域的应用

·机器学习、神经网络等人工智能计算技术,及其对医学影像与病理图片的辅助诊断应用

·新型快速运算技术的研发,以及在基因组、蛋白组、代谢组数据分析中的应用

·新一代区块链技术,及其在医疗、食品、化妆品、等大健康数据集成、交换、与流通中的应用

二、招聘条件

申请人应具有海内外著名大学或研究机构的计算机、生物信息、数学、物理、化学、生物等专业博士学位,年龄在35岁以下;国内应聘人员需毕业于国家重点实验室,师从于院士、长江、杰青、****等本领域的知名学者,海外应聘人员应师从于国际知名学者。

具有较强的科研能力、进取精神和创新能力;了解本领域国际学术前沿研究现状和趋势;具有较强的英文阅读与写作能力,已发表SCI论文;具有较强的动手能力和良好的沟通能力,能够全脱产进行研究工作。

三、应聘材料

四、岗位待遇

博士后在站期间提供比直接入职学校更优厚的待遇。

年薪可以高达28万元(根据基础和业绩面议商定)。学校提供博士后公寓。

表现突出人员课题组将派送海外合作高校和机构从事合作科研,对业绩特别优秀者还将给予额外奖励。

博士后在职期间同时获得以下两项成果者,出站时经导师推荐、所在学院同意、学校审批等程序后原则上可留校工作。

(1)出站考核优秀并满足教师任职条件,由本人提出申请,通过了学校组织的公开招聘,可优先录用。

(2)在站期间获得国家自然科学基金或社科基金项目、发表2篇高水平论文,且具有6个月以上出国(境)经历可按学校“青年百人计划”待遇优先留校工作。

其他待遇按照国家和广东工业大学有关规定执行。

A SpecialInvitation for Postdoctoral Researchers to Join Professor Hao Wang’s Group at Institute of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences

Position: Postdoctoral Researchers

Description: Professor Hao Wang’sGroup undertakes most of the challenging research works atthe International Research Center for Artificial Intelligence and Molecular Imaging (AIMI), International Research Center for Multi-omics Data Analysis (MODA), and both centers are located at Institute of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guangdong University of Technology. With the rapidly growing research work and the center’s development needs, the Group is now inviting postdoctoral researchers at home and abroad to join. Outstanding postdoctoral researchers will be recommended to the university’s “One-Hundred Talents” plan; outstanding oversea postdoctoral researchers will be recommended to The National Thousand Young Talents Plan.

1. Disciplinary Directions

a) The fundamental theory and practical techniques of multi-omics data and clinical data integration and analysis, and their applications in drug discovery and biopharmaceutical research;

b) The fundamental theory and practical techniques of machine learning, neural network, and other techniques for artificial intelligence, and their applications in clinical decision support for medical imaging and pathological image analysis;

c) The fundamental theory of computational intelligence and rapid computation techniques, and their applications in analysis of vast biopharmaceutical data especially generated though research in genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics;

d) Next generation blockchain technology development and application in integration and sharing of health and wellness big data, including clinical, nutritional, and cosmetics data.

2. Requirements

Ph. D. in computer science, bioinformatics, biology, mathematics, physics, chemistryfrom a famous overseas university, age below 35; whose PhD work was supervised by renowned international scholars. Domestic Ph.D. holders graduated from key national lab and be supervised by famous scholars such as Academicians, Yangtze River scholar, National Outstanding Youth or One Thousand Talents scholars, are welcome to apply.

Applicantsshould have strong research ability, pursuit for excellence, and creativity; have a keen understanding of the research field’s international academic frontier and development trend; have good English reading and writing skills and have published SCI papers; have strong hands-on ability and good communication skills, can carry full-time research work.

3. Application Materials

a) detailed resume with continuous study and work experience after earning bachelor’s degree;

b) academic certificate and diploma of Ph.D. and statement of current position;

c) lists of papers, books, and patents;

d) 2~3representative academic papers;

e) A brief statement of personal academic achievement;

f) proposed futurework plans and requirements;

g) two reference letters from peer experts who are well established inthe field. Overseas applicants shall provide at least two recommendation letters by overseas scholars.

4. Salaries and Other Benefits

The position provides competitive salary packages which are even better than formal position of the university.

The annual salary for the postdoctoral researchers is upto 280,000. Special requests can be proposed if you are an outstanding postdoctoral researcher. Bonus can be provided to postdoctoral researchers with outstanding achievement. The school offers posdoctoral apartments.

Postdoctoral researchers who meet the following requirements will be offered further employment opportunities if recommended by supervisor and approved by the school and university:

a) Postdoctoral researchers who meet excellent standard in postdoctoral competence appraisal and the qualification of teacher, should submit an application and pass the open recruitment organized by GDUT, will be employed with priority;

b) Postdoctoral researchers who gain National Natural Science Fund or National Social Science Fund of China, publish two high-level papers, and have at least six months of overseas experience, could be employed as regular staff at GDUT according to“One-Hundred Youth Talents”plan.
